An Innovative Mix on Solution Integrations
To reposition itself for growth, SMS needed a solution to bring 360° visibility across a number of key operating and financial areas, including topline sales, labor, training, occupancy, marketing, pricing and guest experience. With over 1 million transactions per year, 50 vendors, 140 employees and multiple locations, SMS was unable to precisely analyze critical data and drive profitable change in its business practices.
The Cloud Solution
SMS engaged Brinker to build a roadmap that took their financials to the Cloud based on Sage Intacct, the only AICPA-preferred Cloud financial management system. After transforming their back-office processes, Brinker rolled out the Sage Intacct multi-environment solution that integrated with all third-party systems while adapting to SMS’s financial management needs and local retail requirements.
Brinker Collaborated with SMS to Achieve Success
- Re-engineer internal accounting controls and GL architecture and automate financial management processes
- Transition to Mineral Tree’s AP vendor payment system to streamline, integrate invoice-to-pay process, and drive paperless transactions
- Transition to ADP’s payroll and HR solution
- Integrate and reconcile sales, labor and training data and key metrics from point-of-sale system on a daily basis
- Enable real-time financial results and multi-entity consolidations to optimize business decisions across all management levels
